Kangna Ranaut is all geared up to make her 24th birthday a star-studded event. Rather than taking her party to the usual nightclubs, she is calling her guests over to her Bandra residence.
While previous birthdays were low key, Kangna has decided to reach out to B-town's A listers this time. A source tells us, "Kangna has always celebrated her birthday, as she feels special on the day. It has always been a low key celebration with only close friends.
However, this time she is riding on the success of her recent films and is in the mood to celebrate. It's her 24th birthday and rather than having it at some night club, she decided to celebrate it at her residence. She has called many people from Bollywood.
The list includes Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and wife Maanyata, Tanu Weds Manu producer Sunil Bohra, co-star R. Madhavan, David Dhawan, Arjun Rampal and others. It will be quite a party at her residence."
With all the media speculations over her strained relationships with people in the industry, this guest list has certainly come as a surprise. In an interview with a Mumbai Mirror reader on March 13, 2011, Kangna referred to herself as an "outsider" and claimed that many "insiders" were critical of her and hampered her growth in the industry.
Her latest gesture seems to show that she no longer wants to be on the outside, looking in.
