Katie Couric and her boyfriend relax on beach holiday as she guest stars in Glee

When Katie Couric started dating a businessman 17 years her junior there were those who thought it was just a fling. Four years later and the two are still happily going strong, with CBS news anchor Katie, 54, and entrepreneur Brooks Perlin, 36, enjoying a sunny Miami beach holiday this weekend. The couple laughed and chatted as Couric reclined on a beach bed and Brooks stood alongside.

Couric has joined the ranks of stars, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears, who have guest starred in hit show Glee.

Perhaps the episode is a hint of things to come for Couric, whose contract with CBS has nearly ended. The episode sees the return of Glee to the small screen, with plenty of treats promised for the 'Gleeks' who form the fanbase of the musical comedy.

In the preview the cast are seen performing Michael Jackson's Thriller on an American Football pitch, a cheerleader appears to be shot out of a canon and the Dalton Academy Warblers are seen singing Bills Bills Bills.
