Its not all work for Anne Hathaway as she promotes her new film in the sultry South American city of Rio de Janeiro. The 28-year-old actress soaked up the sun with her boyfriend of three years, Adam Shulman as they spent the afternoon lounging by the pool of their hotel.Hathaway looked fun and flirty in a red gauzy dress cover up, straw hat and sunglasses.

But when the cover up came off, the actress showed off her toned and trim body in a striped bikini. Shulman, 29, sat cuddled up with his love under an umbrella chatting with friends and sipping cocktails in the afternoon sun.

The star revealed: ‘He thought that I had a boyfriend and I thought that he had a girlfriend, so I thought that I’d better keep my distance because I didn’t want to be that girl’. But the pair found love and Hathaway’s friends couldn’t be happier that she finally found happiness following the demise of her relationship with Raffaello Follieri.
‘Adam is everything Raffaello wasn’t. He’s sensitive and kind to a fault. I think Anne may have found a kindred spirit.’ Hathaway is currently on a publicity blitz for her new animated film Rio, which is by the same creators as the hit Ice Age franchise.

But the duo had enough of socializing and took a dip in the azure blue pool where they laughed and flirted with each other. Hathaway and Shulman’s romance is in full bloom and the pair shared a passionate kiss as they swam into each other’s arms.

The happy couple were first spotted together in June 2009 and Hathaway admitted in an interview for the November issue of Vogue that ‘things sped up’ once she and Shulman made their relationship official. Anne went on to gush: ‘We hit if off immediately but it took us a pretty long time to get together’.
