Amy Childs already has a large male fan base but it seems that The Only Way Is Essex star is popular with young schoolgirls too.
The 20-year-old reality TV star was mobbed by her young followers in Brentwood, Essex, as she left a hair salon.And the excited girls took the opportunity to chat to Amy and ask for her autograph on the sunny day.

Amy had just finished getting her mahogany locks blow dried at the salon, where she was spotted drinking a Vimto soft drink.Her freshly coloured hair was extra bouncy as she strolled out of the salon alongside a friend, who sported the same shade of red.

Last week Amy admitted that she loves watching herself on the hit show and said: ‘How can I not watch it? It’s brilliant thought, I like it.’
Amy walked out of the salon with brightened mahogany locks and a bouncy blow wave Speaking to Wonderland magazine she admitted that she has no regrets about her head-scratching comments on the show and says: ‘I don’t regret nothing.
‘I’ve come across as the fun character, the nice person. Sometimes I think, ‘Amy, you’ve got to think before you speak’, but at the end of the day that’s me and I let it all out.But she does admit that perhaps her Essex girl look is just a little over the top.
‘The only thing is my make-up,’ she says. ‘Sometimes I think, ‘My god Amy, why do you wear that much make-up?’
