Wide legs: It's Jean-etic

This season 70's influences have seen us wearing oversized sunglasses, fringe boots and fur jackets. So it's no surprise that ankle swaying flare jeans have come back as the new direction in denim styles. Due to the fact that skinny jeans have had a good 5 years in the limelight, more and more celebrities are reverting back to the classic.

Recently Jessica Alba, Victoria Beckham, Paris Hilton and Claudia Schiffer opted for dark flared jeans teamed with oversized sunglasses to give them that ultimate 70's look. While Nicole Richie, Katie Holmes and Miley Cyrus prefer casual light washes with extra slouch. Whether you prefer dark and dressed up or light and casual, it is definitely time to embrace the trend.

Beanie Babies on the loose

Last winter, stylish attendees at Paris and Milan fashion week previewed this year's coolest winter trend, the beanie. The beanie has re-emerged as a fashion must-have on Hollywood's hottest heads.
With most trends, males take a back seat while women play the field, but the beanie has men playing the fashion field too. David Beckham, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Patterson, Zac Efron and the Bond himself Daniel Craig have all added a touch of cool with this casual head gear. Starlets including Vanessa Hudgens, Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton opted for floppy beanies that sit loosely on the head. Pairing the look with designer sunglasses and neutral shades makes the look understated yet chic.

While Rachel Bilson, Avril Lavigne and Jessica Alba covered up their bed hair with the praticality of a beanie, others chose to make a fashion statement. Gwen Stefani wore an emerald green beanie with scarlet red lips while Katie Holmes complimented her snow white beanie with a beautiful matching woollen sweater. Natalie Portman kept it classy with a classic grey trench coat and knockout turquoise beanie.

Never has the beanie reserved for skiing and winter activities looked so trendy as these Hollywood heads prove.

I Choo Choo Chose Choo...

Known for impeccable shoes and handbags, the Jimmy Choo brand has now focused its designer eye on well, eyewear. The new venture has already brought with it a legion of fans in the celebrity domain.
Gwen Stefanie is among the first few celebrities to be seen in the brand. On a family day out with Kingston and her man, Gwen wore a L.A.M.B checked dress and the new Jimmy Choo JJ with coiled snake arms. This pair is one of the most interesting pieces in the collection and it fits Gwen's style to a T.

A month or so ago, Jessica Alba was also seen rocking the same pair. The style is classic but the rope hinges and gold logo stamp adds a twist. This pair retails for $350 and can be bought online at Bergdorf Goodman.

Although the pair Gwen and Jessica chose look great, my favourite from the collection is the Jimmy Choo Lou sunglasses, which are a modern take on the Wayfarer style.

Trend: Chain Strap dresses'

Chain straps have been a popular detail on many designer bags throughout the season's with designers such as Marc Jacobs and Dolce and Gabanna favouring the Rock Chick effect it brings to any bag. However both Mischa Barton and Jessica Alba have been seen at Fashion Rocks this week wearing dresses with chain straps!

As a huge fan of chain detailing, i may be bias in saying that i love this concept, but i can't imagine it being particularly comfortable digging into your back. Either way it looks great on both these ladies.

My new Handbag

Today i went to the shops to complain about a wallet i bought less than a month ago and is already falling apart. Anyways, they were nice enough to let me exchange it without a receipt, So instead of another wallet, i selected this bag to replace it with.

It's by a brand called Chinese Laundry, which i have never heard of before because i think their new to Australia, but apparently they've been featured in many magazines and Jessica Alba and Rihanna are fans....

Well never mind that, i really liked the chain detail on the bag it kind of reminded me of Dolce and Gabanna because of the chain details and animal print all in one bag. It's a good size just to do errands and things, and the interior is bright purple!

Jessica Alba is casually cool

Jessica Alba is proof that it helps to be hot. As she strolled around Venice with her family, Jessica opted to wear a casual outfit of dark skinny jeans, white V-neck top, ballet flats, 80's style sunglasses and a black bag.

She makes a simple outfit look so good and the reason i posted this is because I'm quiet jealous that i lack this ability...that is all...
