With the whole 'studded and rock-style belt' look in full swing for Fall, both Victoria Beckham and Mary-Kate Olsen were both spotted wearing the same rock-style Balenciaga Belt. The belt fits in perfectly with Mary-Kate rock-chic style, whilst although Victoria Beckham's oufit looks good, it seems that Victoria is wearing it for the sake of it being a designer brand, rather than making the look work. Waist belts get wider and wider!

The belt trend seems to be morphing more and more each season. It started at the hips, then Keira Knightley brought the belt to the chest, while the runways found a balance between the two, hugging perfectly around the waist.

However, the very feminine and polished waist belt takes on a whole new dimension for fall, with wider being preferred by many designers. Black is the most versatile option to go for, but if your crazy about the look a neon colored belt such as the hot pink Fendi one seen on Victoria Beckham brings an edge to a classic outfit.
