I am fine: Veena Malik

Contrary to reports from Pakistan, actress Veena Malik has not been injured in the massive road accident on Monday as she travelled from Islamabad to Lahore. The Pakistani papers wrote that Veena was recovering from the accident in a hospital.

"Not true," the sensuous siren called to let us know, "I didn't even get a single scratch. It was a miracle. If you see the car I was travelling in, you'd think everyone in it had perished. The vehicle is completely mangled. But I escaped totally unhurt, and so did the people who were with me. I think there's a guardian angel who is watching over me."

Veena was at the wheel when the accident happened. "I don't know what happened. It was a very steep road. And when you see the height at which the car was, you'd wonder how anyone can survive in an accident on that road."

In the aftermath of the accident, Veena and her Indian boyfriend, actor Ashmit Patel, whom she met when they were co-contestants in the reality show "Bigg Boss", are together again. Apparently, Ashmit has been on the phone constantly, inquiring about Veena's well-being, specially since the reports in the Pakistan press were fairly alarming.

Says Veena coyly, "Ashmit and I can never be separated. We're bonded by karma. We're meant to be together, not only in this life but for all our lives to come."

Prod her about plans of marriage and she giggles, "Neither Ashmit nor I believe in the institution of marriage. The day marriage makes sense to both of us, we'd take the plunge."
Veena returns to Mumbai in two weeks. "I've accepted three movie projects. I'll talk about them when I return to India."

Aditya Divya celebrate anniversary in Oz

Couples love to celebrate their anniversaries with great joy and pomp. That's what actors Aditya Hitkari and Divya Palat did when they rang in their fifth anniversary in Australia.

Aditya and Divya had been to Australia in the past too and they love the place completely. "This country has a little bit of everything and it appeals to us completely. From fine dining hangouts to adventure sports and romantic spots, you have a varied offering to choose from," says an excited Divya.

Being there for their honeymoon too, Aditya and Divya have special memories of the place. "We have spent special time with together — from going to the Sydney Opera House, jumping off an aeroplane 14,400 feet above the ground, watching concerts, sea plane ride and to gorging on food at a quiet, private, romantic hideaway, the memories are never ending," shares Divya.

But this time we are sure Aditya and Divya had a different experience compared to what they had in the past. "We went to Kangaroo Island and Uluru Islands. They were beautiful," says Aditya. Sharing the light moments, Divya says, "The hotel where we stayed looked straight out of a James Bond flick —it was made with sheer glass and had an incredible cliff drop where we could see the ocean. The cliff overlooks virgin beaches and forest. In Uluru, we stayed in luxury tents perched at a height and spent our day understanding the aboriginal culture."

For Aditya, "Melbourne's the most happening city to be in. It is young and alive with a completely edgy European vibe. We took a helicopter ride and were shown the eight rock structures that stood in Apollo Bay. In Sydney, the Opera House and the Bridge Climb are a must, while the Hidden Streets, Arcades tour in Melbourne are worth visit."

For someone who has been there quite a few times, we ask them that what are the places one should not miss visiting there? "Don't ever miss Sydney, the Opera House and the Bridge Climb. Go to the Hidden Streets, Arcades tour in Melbourne, small cafes and local stores. Go to Uluru and see the stars! And go to the Gold Coast for sun, surf and some fabulous theme parks," tells Divya.
And for foodies, Divya recommends Australian cuisine. "Every dish is a surprise in itself. Exquisitely plated, with rich texture and sauces. I would recommend the sea food strongly. It is a must try," says Divya on a parting note.

Sara storms out of the sets

Infuriated by the director's rude behaviour, the actress walked out in protest

Mercurial Sara Khan is known to react in a fit of rage and make hasty decisions (be it marrying and divorcing in a week). But this time round it was apparently for a valid reason, as her anger was triggered due to Jafar, director of her show Ram Milaayi Jodi.

The actress, irked by the indecent behaviour of the director, stormed out of the sets. Reveals a source, "A new director has been appointed by the channel, who was being rude to most of the actors on the show. In fact, he always throws his weight around thinking that he has an upper hand since he has been appointed by the channel. But he realised that he had overstepped the line when Sara, peeved by his rude behaviour, walked out of the sets.

He used foul language and disrespected her, which infuriated Sara. She drove away in her car without saying a word."

However, Sara as usual rubbished it as rumour, "I didn't walk out. I genuinely had some work and I had informed the production house in advance. It had nothing to do with any spat with the director." We also contacted the director who refused to comment on the incident. Sources however,

confirm that the actress did stage a walkout and it was only after producer Rajita Sharma's intervention that the differences were settled. Her co-actor Nishant Malkani, however, supported the director and said, "Our director is a very well-behaved man and is extremely sweet to us. I think different people comprehend the same thing differently. What might look sweet to me may seem rude to someone else."

At last the drama ended!

Fateh Ali Khan Saab should've paid his taxes Veena

Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who climbed the popularity and controversy charts alike with Indian reality show "Bigg Boss", says singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan should follow Indian laws and pay taxes, adding that she pays 40 percent of her Indian earnings as taxes.

She was asked: "What was the general reaction in Pakistan and your opinion on Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan being detained in India for FERA (Foreign Exchange Regulation Act) violations?"

Veena Malik: Dekhiye hamare mulk mein bahut sari baatein kahin gayi isske bare mein (People said a lot of things) : Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Saab is an artiste and so he should have been treated with leniency. I disagree. In my opinion, he was let off lightly with just a fine. But the Indian laws are equally applicable to Indians and Pakistanis.

Look at what Salman Khan has gone through for his black-buck case...or Sanjay Dutt... In spite of being Indians, they've faced the full impact of the laws here. I feel happy that the laws are followed so scrupulously in India. Fateh Ali Saab was earning so much money in India. In my opinion, he should've paid his taxes in the proper way.

So you think the hue and cry against his detention was uncalled for?
Main aapko ek baat bataaon? (Shall I tell you something?) If a female Pakistani artiste had been similarly detained in India, Pakistani reactions would've been different. Because that was Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Saab, they said, let him go.

If it was Veena Malik, they'd have said where did she get this money from? Mere upar itna kichad oochala jata. I'd have been sullied and damned. I'd like to tell my people: Khuda ke vaste double standards khatam karo. Let's treat men and women equally.

How do you pay taxes in India when Pakistani artistes are not allowed to open bank accounts in India?
I paid 40 percent taxes on my earnings from "Bigg Boss". They deducted the tax at source. My money was transferred to me in Pakistan. That's the way to do it. I've never accepted cash for any of my commitments in India. I am clear on this. If I am paying taxes in Pakistan, I'll pay them here as well.

And what are you currently doing in India?
I am doing two reality shows. After being on " Big Boss", I got offers from four Indian television channels to host cricket shows. I also got an offer to do the new season of "Fear Factor". But the stunts, particularly those requiring me to eat alien things, were too disgusting for me. So I declined the offer although friends advised me to go for it.

I've worked with a news channel in Pakistan as well. When I got a chance to do a cricket show, I grabbed it. I am having a blast. And when people like Anshuman Gaekwadji and Chetan Sharmaji ask me if I've been doing cricket commentary for a long time... I'm deeply flattered. Because I'm doing this for the first time. I don't think people in any part of the world are as cricket-crazy as in India and Pakistan. As a child, I'd comment on matches from my home as though I was on radio or television.

Q. Any film offers in India?

A. Oh, yes. There was an offer for an item number in a big film. Then I got an offer to do a film with Aftab Shivdasani. But they had their sets ready and they wanted me to join immediately in March. This month I'll sign a few films and there are at least a couple of other reality shows which are almost finalised...I'm supposed to return to Pakistan on April 2.

Hmmm...why do I get the feeling that I won't be returning to Pakistan for a while? (chuckles).

A new time slot for Maryada

Festivity is in the air with colours splashing everywhere and on Maryada it's time to get together, burying old enemities and renewing the ties of affection.

But underneath the joyous façade, often there lurk old hurts and injustices that can't be concealed for long. After the music and the colours fade away, can these negative feelings and incidents be forgotten?

These are the questions that plague the Jakhar family, who are at the centre of Maryada – Lekin Kab Tak? This show has a lot of twists in store and now has a new timing too.

I pay taxes both in India and Pakistan Veena

Veena Malik Blasts Fellow-Pakistani Rahat Fateh Khan For Breaking Indian Laws

What's your opinion on Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan being detained in India for FERA violence?
People in Pakistan feel that because Rahat Fateh Ali Khan saab is an artiste so he should have been treated with leniency. I disagree. In my opinion he was let off lightly with just a fine. Let's treat men and women equally.

How do you pay taxes in India when Pakistani artistes are not allowed to open bank accounts in India?
I am the only Pakistani actress to earn money on both sides of the border. I pay my taxes in Pakistan and even give 40 per cent of my earnings in India as taxes.

I paid the same on my earnings from Bigg Boss. They deducted the tax at source. My money was transferred to me in Pakistan. I've never accepted cash for any of my commitments in India. I am clear on this. If I am paying taxes in Pakistan I'll pay them here as well.

What are you in India for this time?

As a child I'd comment on matches from my home...as though I was on radio or television.

I am very fashionable Veena Malik

Pakistani actor-model Veena Malik changes her pitch. After tantalising viewers on Bigg Boss 4, she's back in India to make her cricket commentary debut with two shows

Everybody in this world is hungry for publicity. I enjoy it too. I didn't know I'll grab so many eyeballs in Bigg Boss 4 or earn so much fame," says Veena Malik. A channel's website cites her age as 32, but she claims to be 26. "My date of birth is 1984. I have my passport to prove it," she says in her defence.

The Pakistani actor and model who drew the media's attention after exposing her ex-boyfriend as well as cricketer Mohammad Asif's foul play, further gained popularity for her notoriety on the reality show Bigg Boss 4, last year. She's now making her cricket commentary debut.

Malik who admires Indian commentators such as Ravi Shastri and Sunil Gavaskar is hosting not one, but two shows on cricket Cricket-o-tainment along with other experts of the game; and Big Toss with Rakhi Sawant. "People have invested a lot of money and most of all, they have invested their confidence in me," she smiles. "The channel has chosen me as the face of the World Cup."

Quiz her about the terminology of the game What happens when the no-ball goes for four runs? What does it suggest when the umpire raises his one leg? Who's the captain of Zimbabwe? she isn't entirely stumped. "If you think I am an expert, let me tell you, I am not," she says. "But I know the basics of the game. I know when Sachin Tendulkar will enter the stadium he'll break the record of Sanath Jayasuriya and even Miandad."

She promises that the glamour quotient in her cricket shows will be high and is also up for any kind of wardrobe scrutiny. "Obviously, if I am there, the fashion element is going to be there," she stands firm. "I am very fashionable.

People always love my sense of styling. So many young girls out there look up to me. But I am not all fashion and beauty only, I have brains also."

Malik's rooting for India, but her prayers are with Pakistan. "I want to see India and Pakistan in the finals and may the best team win. But if you compare the two teams, then India is in way better form. And yes, it wouldn't help for Pakistan if Asif was playing," she mentions.

It isn't only her previous liaison with the Pakistani cricketer which stimulated her interest in the game. "Like India, people in Pakistan also consider cricket a religion. I have been following the game since childhood and I am emotionally aroused towards it."

In fact, Malik insists she even exposed Asif's match-fixing scandal for the love of the game. "I am a cricket lover. He didn't cheat on me; he cheated on the crores of people who love this game. Cricket is a gentleman's game and he didn't behave like one.

When I met him, he was nobody. He was banned and had so many cases against him. I helped him out in his dark days. I used to beg him to stay away from it, but he still continued," she drawls.

However, photographer Dheeraj Dixit, who was allegedly in cahoots with Asif, has accused Malik of being a bookie. "Really? If I am a bookie then what am I doing here? I was the one who provided the contact numbers and the truth. He's one silly guy who only knows to make stupid comments. Why is he not coming up with any proof? Why is he just a babbler?" she shoots back.

Post her World Cup shows, Malik hopes to visit Mumbai to do some charity along with her 'close friend' Ashmit Patel. The two became friendly on the sets of Bigg Boss 4. "Ashmit was an emotional support inside the house. We have great chemistry. He's very much interested in working in Pakistan, but right now, I have my own problems to deal with over there," she reveals.

She has also been offered roles in Bollywood, apparently, but has rejected all of them and remains unperturbed. She does not wish to start her innings doing B or C grade films. "I am like a river dariya hota hai woh apna raasta khud bana deta hai... Likewise, I work on my own terms. Things will happen when they have to," she signs off.

Actress Farah Naaz sues TV channel

Actress Farah Naaz, who reigned during the 80s and 90s, was in for a rude shock when a team from a reality show reached unannounced at her residence in Oshiwara on February 2 and allegedly began shooting her and her 14-year-old son without her permission.
The furious actress has sent a legal notice to the channel and the production house.

The show is about contestants exchanging mothers, and how she fits into and adapts to her new family.

Farah, known for hits such as Naseeb Apna Apna and Love 86, lives with her son at Starship apartments in Oshiwara. In her legal notice a copy of which is available with Mumbai Mirror -Farah says that her privacy was invaded by the channel and the production house to boost the show's TRP.

What has possibly complicated the matter is the fact- as brought out in the noticethat one of the contestants is Vindoo Dara Singh, Farah's ex-husband and father of her son. Singh is now married to Dina Unirovia, who is also participating in the show.

According to the format of the show Unirovia is required to take care of Tanaaz Irani's children Zeus and Zianne and in turn Tanaaz is required to take care of Unirovia's child.

Farah's lawyer advocate Rizwan Siddiqui said that Farah and her son had never shown any interest to be part of this show directly or indirectly. "In fact my client was startled when she saw Tanaaz and another lady at her residence at 10 pm in the night.

Tanaaz spoke to my client, aggressively seeking her permission to celebrate her son's birthday so that they could use the footage on the show," said Siddiqui.

The notice also says that Tanaaz, who is a reality TV veteran with Bigg Boss2 to her credit, and a camera/production person reached Farah's residence without intimation or invitation. "My client was absolutely unprepared and these people asked her provoking and intimidating questions, so as to catch and video record her reactions and comments, and then exploit the footage commercially," said Siddiqui.

Farah in her notice has also pointed out that Tanaaz had earlier caught her son on camera when he had gone to visit his father Vindoo.

Siddiqui also added that Farah got uncomfortable when Tanaaz asked pointed questions about Vindoo's present wife Unirovia and the equation between the two women. "My client has been an actor and she sensed something was wrong when Tanaaz began asking her probing questions.

She did not want to create a scene and asked the two to leave without giving in to their demands," he said. Farah later sent a notice so that the footage that was shot could not be put on air and also claimed damages for intrusion in her privacy.

While Tanaaz refused to comment on the episode, Ajay Bhalwankar, programming head of the channel, said, "We have received the notice and forwarded it to our legal department.

As far as charges of invasion of privacy are concerned, we will have to check with the production house, which organised the shoot.

Hrithik to get Rs 2 crore per episode on tv

To judge a dance reality show, Hrithik Roshan is reportedly getting Rs 2 crore per episode thereby making him the highest paid celebrity on the small screen.

His Guzaarish and Kites might have gone down the drain at the box-office but Hrithik Roshan still enjoys exceptional star power. The actor will soon be making his debut on the small screen as a celebrity judge for a dance reality show for which he is reportedly being paid a bomb. While some might believe that it is too early for Hrithik to venture into TV, the offer is so luring that anyone would give in.

With dance reality shows being a big hit on the small screen, the channel Star Plus is coming up with a show of its own called Just Dance. Contestants on this show will not be restricted to India but will come from across the world. And who better than Hrithik Roshan who is known to dancing skills to judge the show! The promos are currently being shot and the show shall start sometime in mid 2011.

If sources are to be believed Hrithik Roshan is being paid Rs 2 crore per episode. This is more that Akshay Kumar who was paid around Rs 1.75 crore per episode and Amitabh Bachchan who was paid Rs 1.5 crore per episode to host their shows. Hrithik has surpassed them all to take the number one position for the highest paid celebrity on the small screen.

It's divine intervention

Having a godfather in the industry is one thing, but having God with you is another, says actress Aditi Sajwan, whose roles on TV have always been closely connected with Lord Krishna.

Even though she started her career Meri Doli Tere Angana, she got noticed in Jai Shree Krishna and later in Meera.

"I should indeed thank God for the fabulous break that he's given me in my career," says Aditi, who in real life too is a devout follower of Krishna. "Since childhood, I've worshipped him. Little did I know that I'd play the role of his mother and also of his doting devotee Meera," she smiles. Talking about her role in Jai Shree Krishna, Aditi says, "It was a huge role and naturally a big challenge.

At first I wasn't too keen, but thanks to Moti Sagarji's persuasion, I took it up. And today I'm so glad I did," says the young actress, who's now looking forward to more youthful roles that would suit her age.

Saras spoilt for choice

Sara Khan's relationship with hubby Ali Merchant might be in doldrums, but the petite actress herself seems far from it.

A khabroo from the sets of her show Ram Milaayi Jodi tells us that Sara has in fact, been in a great mood, even joking about her extended choices — the two men in the show! Says the source,

"She keeps joking about the two actors in the show, calling them 'cute wala Anukalp' and 'dashing wala Goldie'.

Now Goldie aka Manik Jaura doesn't seem to have any qualms being termed 'dashing' by Sara but Anukalp aka Nishant Malkani doesn't like being called 'cute'. But our souce adds that she is definitely bonding a lot with Nishant.

Shouldn't she instead be focussing on making things work between her and Ali? Guess time will tell.

Aanchal denies dating rumors

Aanchal Kumar has denied the news that she is 'dating' Rahul Bhatt. She said, "All I want to say is that Rahul is a dear friend."

But what about the fact that Rahul himself had come forward to declare that they are a couple? To this, Aanchal replied, "His statement has been tweaked. What he meant was that he's very fond of me. And we love each other as friends. Nothing else."

She then added, "I really don't understand the need to put this so prominently. I had cleared my stand even when I came out of the "Bigg Boss" house. I had also said then that Rahul is one person with whom I would love to be in touch with. But that doesn't mean that we are dating."

Not happy at the whole sequence of events, she said, "It's sheer friendship and this is being misconstrued. We are friends and will remain so. And if people feel that it's love, then I have nothing to say."

Same sex couples at DID auditions

There are certain walks of life that draw gay men in hordes ... be it fashion, interior decoration or dance!

These professions, without a doubt, have a queer predominance. Creatively inclined, they have been observed to excel at fine arts. No wonder then at the auditions of the latest season of Dance India Dance, which is a hunt for India's best dancing Jodi, saw some interesting same sex couples turning up to dance! Making a mark from among the hundreds who came to audition in Lucknow were Mahesh Tamang and his partner Rahul.

If the reports from the sets are to be believed, Mahesh who dresses up in drag was so convincing and beautiful as a girl that several red-blooded men from the crew who were ogling at "her" were devastated on finding out that "she" is actually a "he"! Mahesh Tamang floored Master Geeta Kapoor who hugged him saying, "I wish more women could learn to dance as gracefully like you!" Equally deserving is a mention of Pankaj from Jaipur who had jaws dropping with his vigorous Munni jig accompanied by a dwarf-sized Chulbul " Dabangg" Pandey. Their sense of comic timing was to be seen to be believed!

Both the couples have shot to the Top 50 at DID Doubles.

Karan, another DID Doubles contestant has an inspirational story. He had met with a fatal accident 5 years back and since then his elbow movements are restricted but this did not deter him from learning dance from an American choreographer, Mia Michaels. Karan and Karling were like a runaway express train on stage and their frenzied skill and military precision sent shivers down the judges' spine.

We want Sara, Ali relationship to end Saras mom

The much-hyped marriage of television actress Sara Khan and Ali Merchant is over and the former's mother says that they were never in favour of the relationship.

"We never liked Ali and we were opposing their marriage. But today the time has changed. Parents have to follow children, the children don't follow them," Sara's mother Seema Khan told IANS. "We want this relationship to get over," she added.
Both Sara and Ali are from Bhopal and they moved to Mumabi to pursue their acting career. Sara got fame with her role in Star Plus's "Sapna Babul Ka - Bidaai", while Ali came to the limelight with Imagine's "Do Hanson Ka Joda".

Both Sara and Ali tied the knot Nov 10 in "Bigg Boss" house, but within 43 days the reports came that the two are living separately in Mumbai. The reason for the rift is said to be Ali misusing the money Sara earned by participating in "Bigg Boss 4".

After staying in "Bigg Boss" house for weeks, Sara was evicted early this month. Sara's phone was found switched off when attempts were made to contact her.

New surname has brought me luck Vaishnavi

The dream to become an actress was in her eyes since her childhood, yet she never revealed that to anyone thinking that people would laugh at her.

But, she worked diligently towards her goal and is finally carving a niche for herself in Telly world. The confident 22-year-old TV actress Vaishnavi Dhanraj, who hails from Nagpur, is all set to play Ammaji's granddaughter from today, in Na Aana Iss Des Laado, a daily soap on Colors, which is taking an 18-year leap. In a candid chat with NT, the Nagpur chi mulgi speaks about her dreams and superstitions...

Looking Ahead
Her debut on TV happened with telesoap Karam Apna Apna in 2009, but she earned real fame in an investigative show, in which she played a cop. Ready to appear in her third serial, the actress is obviously very confident. Ask her how did this serial happen and she says, "I had given an audition and got selected for this role, which is going to be very demanding. In my earlier serial, I played a sober and disciplined cop, but this character is careless, silly yet confident; and that's how I am in real life too. So, I'm loving this character."

Ambitious & focused
Nowadays, every other soap has new faces and they tend to vanish easily too. Ask Vaishnavi how difficult it is for a newcomer to survive in such a scenario, and she replies, "It is very difficult and that's one of the reasons why newcomers disappear after one or two soaps. When a newcomers get a break, they are focused, but later their attention gets diverted and they become more demanding in terms of money as well as their roles too. Hence, they lose many roles. It's a very unpredictable field, so I will work hard and stay focused," says she.

Being superstitious
Not many know that her original name is Vaishnavi Bhoyar and she changed her surname on her numerologist's advice. She says, "I changed my name to Vaishnavi Dhanraj after Karam Apnaa Apnaa because the surname Bhoyar was not lucky for me. The new surname has really brought me good luck and it sounds better too. In glamour world it is very important to have a name that is stylish and different. I don't mind admitting that I am superstitious. In fact, on my astrologer's advice, I am also wearing a sapphire and a topaz in my fingers."

'Missing Nagpur'
The actress, who hails from Nagpur, has done her schooling from BRA Mundle High School, and later studied in Shivaji Science College. Ask her about the fond memories she has of her native city and she gets emotional. "I still remember the roads, footpaths and signals of Nagpur, especially Dhantoli area, where I used to stay. I remember all my friends and relatives who stay there and I am still in touch with everyone. My acting dreams bloomed in Nagpur, thus this city will always remain very special in my life. I am coming to Nagpur on December 30 and hope to meet everybody out there.

All work and no play for Vishal

Talk about workaholics — Vishal Malhotra took just about a week off from work to attend his own wedding!

After his dream wedding to the pretty Rashi Chopra at the Kanota castle in Rajasthan in the first week of December, the couple hosted a reception for their friends and family at a suburban hotel in Mumbai, last week. "I resumed work the very next day of my reception. It has been crazy yes, but we had discussed about this and it was all decided beforehand." He's busy juggling between quite a few tele-shows and managing his advertising agency. "It feels horrible to leave her at home early morning but then work is work after all," he admits.

Vishal and Rashi have moved into their new home in Khar. He was earlier staying with his parents in Pali Hill.
So what does the new bride do the whole day, all alone at home? "Rashi is busy putting together the finishing touches to the interiors. We had decided on the decor beforehand. We wanted the home to have our touch, so we didn't consult any professional interior designer. And now that I leave for work early, Rashi is taking care of it all," smiles the newly wed with pride.

He has squeezed out a few days of leave during the New Year but would be back to work from January 3 next year.

When asked about the couple's honeymoon plans, Vishal quips, "We plan to take off on a holiday in March next year.

Good Karma Is A Way Of Life

Neither am I a true believer of God nor an atheist, but what I believe is to make my soul within me happy.

My joy has no bounds and reaches its uppermost tip whenever I end my day doing some good deeds. And since this practice induces a great sense of peace, I believe in the theory of karma. Instead of making it sound serious, I like to add a dash of fun to it. So, just the way kids do homework after school.

I do little things for the needy on the way back home. As they say, 'charity begins at home', so I see to it that my parents are taken care of and are happy. Parents mean a lot to me. When I see joy in their eyes, I feel I've touched heaven.

During my childhood days, my mom used to often read out stories about how God changed his avatar and tests us humans by turning into a hungry poor man or a sweeper or even as a friend who's in need.

This remains etched on my mind. And unconsciously, I've started to work on that. So, holding out a hot, fresh vada paav wrapped neatly, to a beggar near the traffic signal, or giving a chocolate bar to a kid or helping an elderly woman cross a busy junction, makes me feel good. To me, God resides in good deeds.

Yana is in love with Salman

Item bomb Yana (formerly Gupta), who left Bollywood heart-broken when her marriage as well a steamy affair with Aftab Shivdasani failed, is back and it looks like in love!

Never mind that she returned and immediately plunged into controversy by appearing 'pantyless' at a fashion event, TOI is pleased to report that Yana has found happiness again. Gossip is that Yana is seeing her partner from the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Ja, Bangalore dance choreographer Salman Khan. The two were spotted holding hands at Vijay Mallya's birthday bash on Saturday. Yana introduced the shy Salman all around and, when asked about the status of their relationship, said, "Now that we are a couple on TV, I think we should appear together at every event possible to build the connect with the people who will vote to make us winners. I'm fond of Salman and he is a great dancer, we have grown close, but I won't say that we are dating.
