Karishma Kapoor, the first lady from the Kapoor khandaan to make it big on the silver screen, is back again to cast her magic. She will be back with the film Dangerous Ishq by Vikram Bhatt. Dangerous Ishq is a 3-D thriller. The inside story actually is that, it was Vikram Bhatt who persuaded her to come back to films again.Karishma did her last film almost nine years ago, in 2002. The title of that film was Mere Jeevan Saathi. She starred opposite Akshay Kumar then. But since then, she was scouring for a suitable role that would help her back to the tinsel town. However, in between, she had got an offer for a film, but the deal was not done due to financial reasons and problems.
It was not the first time that Mr. Bhatt has made an actress comeback on the big screen. When Sushmita Sen won the Miss Universe title, it was Vikram Bhatt who persuaded her do films.
Apparently, Vikram Bhatt wanted only Karishma to show her charisma as he felt she was the best bait for a character that was more than 30 years old. Dangerous Ishq is yet another thriller that the Bhatts are working on after the unprecedented success of their previous horror thriller Haunted.
