Heavily pregnant Selma Blair looks uncomfortable posing next to model Alessandra Ambrosio

Pregnant actress Selma Blair looked as if she’d rather be anywhere else but standing next to supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio.


Looking less than relaxed, the 38-year-old actress posed up on the red carpet at the opening of Marquee Day Club at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas alongside the leggy bronzed Brazilian, 25, who looked stunning in a plunging Emilio Pucci kaftan.

Selma looked chic in a patterned shirt-dress style maxi, and complemented the Seventies-inspired look with a pair of gold platform sandals and wore barely-there make-up.


But she was completely upstaged by the sexy Brazilian supermodel who wore a slashed to the waist kaftan mini displaying the body which has made her one of the highest paid models in the world.


Alessandra, 25, a mother herself with a her two-year-old daughter called Anja, could pass on some tips to Selma on how to regain her figure post-baby - as she is certainly in fine shape again.

Selma looked the picture of health as she stepped out , and clearly and appears to be enjoying her pregnancy.

‘I eat pancakes all day. I don’t eat gluten, so I eat gluten-free pancakes. It’s a little better, but not much!

Selma recently signed on to model a new clothing line as part of H&M’s series of annual campaigns that have so far raised over $6million for Aids charities.


She’ll join other big names like Penn Badgley, Ginnifer Goodwin, Akon and Scissor Sisters to raise money for Fashion Against Aids.


And thanks to the androgynous styling of the unisex collection, it seems that the days of raiding your partner’s wardrobe for boyfriend blazers and oversized shirts could be over.

Blair said: ‘I think it’s really fitting that this collection is androgynous in style since the disease affects both men and women.


’It’s a universal thing and we are all in this together. It’s a disease that can be avoided and it’s especially tragic when our ignorance keeps us from safety.’


Selma has not let pregnancy slow down her style and has been seen in cutting edge maternity style including the latest fashion accessory of a Japanese belt tied just above her bump.


The fashionable actress has also squeezed into skin-tight leather trousers.
