Bronzed Jennifer Metcalfe poses in bikini for calendar shoot as she's offered place on Strictly

Jennifer Metcalfe soaks up the sun as she tries on a series of sexy swimsuits for a calendar photoshoot.

The Hollyoaks star was pictured poolside at up market beach club Nikki Beach in Marbella this week as it was reported today that the actress has been offered a place on the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.

Jennifer, 26, who plays Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, could be following in the footsteps of her former co-star Ricky Whittle, who got to the programme’s finals last year.

A source told The Sun: ’They really want Jen because she’d look amazing on the dance floor. She’s really keen the only problem is her Hollyoaks schedule.’

The Bradford-born star has had a hectic schedule of late, shooting a calendar with the Hollyoaks girls, doing lots of night shoots with Hollyoaks and promoting her celebrity dress hire firm The Closet.

MailOnline revealed earlier this month how the brunette had liposuction on her thighs and bottom, helping her to drop a dress size.

But while she looks immaculate in many of the shots, one picture taken of her from behind was not quite so flattering, despite having had the £2,000 procedure last month.

Frank Bruno, Gavin Henson and Patsy Kensit are also tipped to be appearing in Strictly.
