Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan to star in Magadheera remake

Two of Bollywood's biggest superstars, Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan are expected to be signed for the remake of the superhit Telugu movie 'Magadheera'.



The producers of Bollywood's biggest hit Ghajini, Allu Arvind and Madhu Mantena are planning to cast Aamir and Hrithik in the movie. The producers are planning this movie to be twice as big as Ghajini.

The Telugu movie 'Magadheera' starred South superstar Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja and it grossed nearly 70 crores at the box office. The film was directed by S. S. Rajamouli.

In the original Telugu movie the plot was based in the 17th century, the hero had a double role in which he had a split personality.

In the Hindi remake of Magadheera, the hero's role will be split into two characters. Hrithik Roshan is expected to play the 17th century Samurai's role and Aamir Khan will be play the role of the modern avatar.

Baba Ramdev buys Scottish Island for Rs 16 crore

India's renowned yoga guru Baba Ramdev has purchased a Scottish island named 'Little Cumbrae Island' for a price of £2 million (Rs 16 crore).



The island covers an area of 1.25 sq km and even has a 13th century castle.

Baba Ramdev will be setting up a yoga and wellness centre on the island. It will also be his base abroad.

The Scottish island was acquired by Indian-origin couple Sam and Sunita Poddar on behalf of Baba Ramdev.

Baba Ramdev had set up Patanjali Yogpeeth to promote scientific research and promotion of Indian values and tradtions, yoga, ayurveda and spiritualism in order to provide a better quality of life.

Baba Ramdev said he wants to convert the island into a haven of peace and tranquility.

Anyway, my journey home was so-so....BUT why hah everytime these days, mak selalu duduk sebelah orang yang tak menarik????**matilaaaa!!! Betul uols...dahlah burok....mulut pun berbau..and it happened on the both sector of my AMS-KUL-AMS flight!!!! Talk about luck eh???

Oh boleh mak nak cerita sikit? KLM flight tu pun okay lah jugak..flight nak ke KL was so-so jugak; the seat was good (flight ni memang penuh dengan warga Indon nak transit di KL sebelum ke Jakarta naik KLM) and the cabin crew was quite friendly although - service lembab nak mampssss, video entertainment tak berapa nak jalan sebab "CPU panas katanya..apanamarimau ni????" and right towards the end of the flight, air kat toilet pulak kurang maka semua diminta supaya tak basuh tangan lepas guna toilet! Hellooooo puak puak Indon ni guna air dalam toilet tu buat mandi manda dan basuh baju macam diorang buat kat negara diorang kah?????

Overall my short time in Malaysia was good - jumpa cousins dan sedara mara yang dah lama tak bertemu..posing posing tak hengat dan maka of course mak pon makan jua tak hengat. Maka alhasilnya obesiti perkapasita lah mak! **meraong! Tapi takpa nooooooo, pasnih kena jaga makan balik and back to good eating habit and gym! **matilaaa diet yo-yo!

La ni mak masih penat sebab travelling..... flight nak balik ni banyak bebenor turbulence sampai mak hampir rasa nak muntssss uolsss... kalau mak asik munts dalam flight tu, sahs ah theyols hengat mak pregnansi noh??? Jgn diorang hengat bapak kepada budak dalam kandungan mak ialah pakcik hat dok sebelah mak tu lah, sebab dia burokkkkk!!!! ***mak tak relaaaaaaaaaaaaa

This is the only "lemang" I had over the duration of my stay in Malaysia hehehehehe...nan-adonyer episod lemang idop! *ops!

Bipasha Basu groped at Durga Puja festival in Mumbai

Bengali beauty and Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu had a harrowing time at the Durga Puja when she was groped by a stranger. Bipasha Basu was attending Durga Puja festival celebrations on Saturday with actor and boyfriend John Abraham in Mumbai, when the incident occurred.



John Abraham immediately took away Bipasha Basu from the scene to avoid further trouble. Ironically, the pandal where the Durga Puja was being held is managed by the family of actress Rani Mukherjee.

According to eyewitnesses at the event, Bipasha Basu had just completed darshan of the deity, when suddenly a stranger in the crowd groped Bipasha Basu's breasts. Bipasha was very angry but people calmed her down and convinced her not to file a police complaint.

In the meantime, the stranger took advantage of the crowded situation and ran away immediately.

Lata Mangeshkar Birthday Special: Rare pictures

Lata Mangeshkar, (born on September 28, 1929) who celebrates her 80th birthday today, is one of the best-known playback singers in the Bollywood Hindi film industry. Noted lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar once said that "Lata Mangeshkar is today an adjective by herself. Lata is indescribable. Her name itself is an epithet suggesting perfection and a lifetime of music". Here are some rare pictures of Lata Mangeshkar.











Lata Mangeshkar's career started in 1942 and has spanned over six and a half decades. She has sung in over a thousand Bollywood movies and has sung songs in over twenty regional Indian languages, but primarily in Hindi. She is the elder sister of the equally accomplished singer Asha Bhosle and brother Hridayanath Mangeshkar and sisters Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Mangeshkar. Lata is the second vocalist ever to have received the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.











Mangeshkar was featured in the Guiness Book of World Records from 1974 to 1991 for having made the most recordings in the world. It is believed that she had recorded not less than 25,000 solo, duet, and chorus-backed songs in 20 Indian languages between 1948 to 1974 (30,000 songs between 1948 and 1987, according to the 1987 edition).











Lata Mangeshkar has won several awards and honors, including Padma Bhushan (1969), Padma Vibhushan (1999), Dada Saheb Phalke Award (1989), NTR National Award (1999), Bharat Ratna (2001), three National Film Awards, and 12 Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards.

She has also won four Filmfare Best Female Playback Awards. In 1969, she made the unusual gesture of giving up the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award, in order to promote fresh talent. She was later awarded Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1993.

In 1984, the State Government of Madhya Pradesh instituted the Lata Mangeshkar Award in honor of Lata Mangeshkar. The State Government of Maharashtra also instituted a Lata Mangeshkar Award in 1992.
