Siri Terburai Abdomenkieww: Blue Spice Indian Buffet

Now near where we live in Cambridge, there's a new eating place especially for those who love Indian food (and according to the owner of this place, it's the "real" Indian food - not one of those Bangladeshi food you could get all over the country under the "Indian Restaurant" name! Miowwwwww!!!!). The place is called Blue Spice Indian Buffet. It's situated right below our LA Fitness gym. Mrasa hoh lepas ber-eksesais, truss turun pakat makan kat sittew.. hahah ad-dinch!!!

The price? well, quite pricey but then it's Cambridge price for you - £12.95 per person for the buffet (ye lah, okeylah, you can eat as much as you like... ala ala hidup untuk makan lah pulak!)

So for the first time, last week, we both went there and it was themed Punjabi night - the dishes originally from Punjab region of India.

The funny thing was, because I took a few photos while dishing out the food and eating, the owner asked me briefly if I were to work in a "food industry". Mak terpinga pinga.. at first I thought it's a stereotypical thing - Asians in the UK usually works in restaurants! BUT then Avang told me that the owner probably thought that I took the photos for my "own business" (he probably thought I have my own restaurant or something and want to "spy"). Haiyyoo walhal mak nak promote restoran dia nih!





The delicious food was served in these nicely shaped containers. Kept warm by low heat underneath each of the containers.



Starters - including fried chicken (probably tandoori style) and onion bhajis.




Main meal including Hot Maharaja Chicken (I think) and mushroom pilau rice.... memang sedap uols!



Sweet dessert..could not remember what they were but then who cares?? They were simply scrumptious!!!!

Then a few days ago, we came to this Blue Spice buffet eaterie again - this time around with AJ. He's at home for two days for a bit of work. So why not eating out with him at this very nice Indian buffet place, eh? The theme for Tuesday night was Southern India - recipes originally from the south of India mainly Kerala & Tamil Nadu. Sedap uols!





The starter - some sort of fish (my absolute favourite of the night!!! I have been going back and forth for this fish!!!). Others include samosas and the usual poppadums.





Main dishes including hot chicken tikka, prawn tikka (or something), "rice yoghurt" and pilau rice. Abaikan gelas arak ittew...bukan mak punyer, ittew AJ punyer, leyy???

The dessert was made out of potatoes apparently and that yellow round-shaped dessert is "ladhoo" apparently a very popular sweet in India. Very delicious! Dua kali mak menambah, ley???

Siri Terburai Abdomenkieww: Makan Makan Weekend

Dosi lama weols dinch jumpa si K, anak tiri mak ittew. Last time weols jumpa dia pun masa Krismas hari tu. The weekend before that actually ingat memang nak jumpa si K nih and perhaps bawak dia dan "tunang" dia sekals ngan weols ke Lille, France but memandangkan "tunang" si K ittew dinch berduit (sebab asik dok beli games jah!), so weols dinch bawak theyols pun! Kalau idak, haruslah Avang je yang kena bayor untuk si "tunang" tuh sekals! Kosser taww!



Main course - Grilled Chicken with Lemony Bombay Potatoes. Hari tu Avang dosi try resipi inniew..sedap sekals uols! Memang pun, these days, Avanglaa tukang masak kat umah ni! Mak goyang & bukak kaki luas luas jah..**oops!



Kannn??? Dosi terhidang pun..maka acara nak mengisi tembolok memasing pun dosi bermula!

Hollyoaks Update - John Paul & Father Kieron?

This is only for those who follow Channel4's soap Hollyoaks. Only when we thought the great storyline for John-Paul McQueen (played by James Sutton) had ended after the departure of Craig Dean (his so-called "straight" boyfriend), now we are given this storyline - John-Paul a.k.a JP with Father Kieron (played by Jake Hendriks - owhh he's gorgeous!!!).

Just as I thought the storyline of a gay priest is controversial (now that I have heard Hollyoaks is going to be aired in the USA).





Jake Hendriks (Father Kieron Hobbs) & James Sutton (John-Paul McQueen)

First looked like JP is going to get off well with Robin the bartender at The Dog but looks like he's a jerk after all; stood JP up for another guy! And he gave JP a kiss in a toilet just to pissed Father Kieran off (The priest was just about to enter the toilet when he found them both talking).

This was the scene when Robin kissed JP infront of Father Kieron.

AND now, we had just found out that Father Kieron himself is infact - gay! It all came out (only to JP) when JP was pouring his heart out about being lonely and always ended up with a jerk! JP was telling Father Kieron (FK) how could FK understand how he feels when he's not gay and never been in his situation!

Well, everything came out after that, FK told JP that he understood his situation because he feels lonely too (because he has taken vow of celibacy for he's a priest) and that he's also gay. Wow... shocking eh? BUT really I had an inclination that this is going to be the next storyline!

However after that JP had been such a jerk by forcing FK to come clean to Myra McQueen (JP's mom) because he lives in their house at the moment!

Poor FK! He was torn in between - not sure whether to come clean or not - now that JP is probably going to tell everyone about him being gay!

Now FK had made a decision to find some other place to stay - anywhere but the McQueen's household! JP was so harsh on FK saying that FK should tell all, being honest to himself etc..etc.. but FK told JP off by saying that he's proud of being who he is (a priest) and that he's not leading a double life because he's celibate!

JP suddenly felt sorry for FK (perhaps as well felt how bad he treated FK) and asked him to stay... bless him! FK now agreed to stay longer in his house. After all, who's JP going to watch the football with at home on the couch? On the couch together ehh?? ***sesuatuh!

Hmm..we'll see how far their relationship will go. Will they be lovers or just good friends?

I must say, they are so cute together (if they are going to be at it!).

Lille Day Trip

Hey uols, meh mak nak tunjuk gegambar perjalanan weols to Lille, France on Sunday just gone. It was a bright sunny day and weols terpaksa bangun awal awal pagi sebab nak kena drove all the way to Dover for the 9.30am SeaFrance ferry crossing kaedahnya.

Memula hengat nak naik Eurotunnel as usual tapi khabarnya fully book pulak Eurotunnel ittew. Sesuatuh taww sebab tup tup busy walhal non-ado school holiday ke hapa skang.

Tapi okeylah jugaks ebab day trip naik ferry inniew only costed Avang £29.00 return. Murs murs kan? Dahlah petrol dia takyah bayar pun (sebab keta kompeni.. oopss matiker salah guna?? Ad-dinch uols sebab dia pun kena bayar tax kereta mahal sokmo!).





The scenery from the ferry as it left Port of Dover. kannn uols could see the famous White Cliffs of Dover ittew (sampai ado lagu dedicated for this area!). Lagu lama lah pulak.. **matilaa mak di cap sebagai orang tua umur 50-an!!! :P

On board the ferry on the deck. Sejuk uols tapi ad-dinch laa sejuk sampai minus minus degrees celcius bagai nih....

Mak nyer breakfast on board - tuna nicoise salad ke hapa theyols panggey. Murs laa jugak £2.60 for that cinonet bowl! Tapi motiff mak tengah dok baca buku fasal Delhi, Jaipur & Agra??? Ni nak gi Perancis kaaa nak gi India nih??? **matilaaa sebulan baru sampai India naik feri kot hoh???



By around lunch time, weols dosi sampai ke Lille. From Calais to Lille, it took us 1 hour or so kot driving. Ntuh mak pun lupa, hiks! Tapi takdelah sejauh kalau nak ke Antwerp ittew! Kannn..senang sangat kalau dok dekat dekat Dover nih..naik feri or naik Eurotunnel, sejam lebih pastuh, trusss sampai continental Europe! Anyone of you yang berkesempatan ado di UK, should try this.. boleh sajork gi shopping kat Calais' Cite de Europe tuh... quite a big shopping mall. Kat sittew Carrefour pun ado!

Gambar atas - I dunno bangunan hapo ntah tuh.. but terpana lah jugak mak sebab nampak gayanya uols leyy panjat naik atas tuh nak tengok pemandangan Lille. Mrasa next time mak nak panjat!

Yang ni makanan malam mak kat ferry crossing back to UK that night. Fish & Chips yang cinonet inniew costed me £6.50 lebih kurang, leyy?? Cikhal nak mampos! Delicious anyway....

So what did we do in the mean time? Of courselah pergi ke les Bains sawana yang vass vurgidebass ittew.

Nantilah mak cerita ceriti fasal sexperience kat sittew... sawana kat UK memang non-ado sangat bagi mak..tu yang suka gi Europe sokmo nih! Sapa yang mak dapat? Lemme see... Abang Belgium Tinggi Lampai, Abang Botak Lemang Gedabak Body Fit, Adik Latino yang fit etc..etc.. hmmm matilahaku kekwat!

Tu diah..gorgeous katanya..mak rasa tang gorgeous tuh sebab light kat dalam bar tuh agak dim..tu sebab nampak gorgeous; kalau idak, takde sapa pun nak tengok muka mak nih uols!!! Gegeh tu hah dok tawaf bar tuh sampai sepuluh kali katanya...

Lepas tuh sampai tak sudah dia asik puja puji mak. Mak pun apa lagi, memang seronoklah sangat kan.... ya lah, abang botak hensem..body pun fit lah jugak..aiyyoo merembsss... sayang mak dinch snappy gegambar ngan dia sebab masa tuh weols (mak, Avang, Rob & Caroline) dosi kalut nak gi tempat lain - they did not serve the drinks fast enuff kat sittew!

Lagipun sesuatuh sangatlah pulak nak snappy snappy truss walhal baru berjumpa..ishh nantilah lenkali mak jumpa dia lagi, mak snappy pose pose manja liuk lentuq ngan dia, nah?

Dia pun masa tuh asiklaa dok merabs rabs mak..held my body close to his. Masa bercakap pun ala ala macam nak commolot ngan mak lah pulak! ***which we did actually.... mrasa mak rasa malu depan Rob & Caroline!

Masa dok meraba tu (ni kat tengah tengah pub ni hah dengan ramai orangnya..haiyyoo matilaa muka tak malu hoh?) sempat dia ajak mak gi kat toilet kat basement tu..nak servis mak katanya..aiyyoo merembss mak. Nak servis pun takkan naks ervis kat sittew; tak manislah pulak kan?? **matilaa statement plastik!

Lagipun, Avang, Rob, Caroline pun ado kat sittew..ishhh takkan tetiba nak gi toilet buat projek ngan orang yang mak baru jumpa piula? Sangat tak perlu!

So sempatlah kan dia bagi kad dia kat mak. Hamboii rupanya dia ni direktor TV production uols...tapi nama kompeni dia ala ala bau bauan porno punyer company. Nak soh mak jadi aktor dia kah?? **matilaa perasan!

Dia cakap lenkali kalau mak datang London, mak kena gi umah dia...dan dia ajak mak sekals soh gi parti kat umah dia once dia balik dari Los Angeles nanti. Mak takdelah pulak bagitahu dia Avang ialah mak nyer boifren; mak cuma cakap mak ado boifren tapi weols ado open relationship.

Dia tak kisah... dia kata lenkali nak jumpa jugak mak...

Currently HOT on TV

Owwhhh so many good programs on TV these days especially untuk golongan mak ni hah! Kadang kadang tuh merembss tak hengat kalau tengok theyols dok bercommolot bagai (mind you, not all of them are gay characters; some are just eye candy... haruslah kan makan hati sebab theyols janz straight!)



This is from BBC2's Torchwood. The characters above played by John Barrowman (hero!!! Captain Jack Harkness) and James Marsters (he was in Buffy & Angel??). First episode of the new series showed them kissing and by the looks of things, they were lovers!




Ahh the good 'ol Hollyoaks on Channel4. This time around, John-Paul McQueen found new love (or is it just new lust?) in the form of a new bartender of The Dog pub called Robin. At first I thought the new JP's love would be the new hairstylist (but then he turned out to be the long lost brother of JP himself) or Father Kieran (but hey, gay priest?? Controversial uols!). Let's see how far this two will go after the gripping drama last year surrounding JP and Craig!

Eastenders - the current hunk is this guy, Scott Maslen playing Jack Branning. A bloody sexy guy, uols!!! Merembsss mak! Tapi sayang, dia str8 lah! baik dalam soap Eastenders inniew mahupun outside (mak speku jah!). No, he did not wear like this all the time in Eastenders!!! Kalau idak, harus mak tercikcut every night! ***oops!

Boy Dancers of Heaven

Mrasa.... mempersembahkan.. Boy Dancers of Heaven, London. memang trasa di Heaven sangat..penuh dengan jejanz kendieww yang topless yang pandai menari!

Memula masuk Heaven ni weols hengat aiyyooo muzik dia very der thumping the hearbeat sangat..macam nak luruh jantung sebab bass-system dia kuat bebenor theyols pasang! Tapi rupanya, tingkat atas masa tu belum buka lagi, so bila dancefloor atas tuh dah bukak, haruslah kan weols (mak, Avang, Rob & Caroline) truss jah sampai ke akhirnya kat bahagian tu. Great music and what do you know, lots of Asians jugak rupanya.

Mak pun memanglah kan nak gak churanz bagai tapi takde sapa pun nak kat mak lah uols **nanges! Alahai lagipun susah skett hoh, pergi pun dengan Avang bagai..sah sah theyols takut nak approach mak! **matilaaaa miss alasan sangat!

Weols masuk pun kena bayar £12 - mahal gilbabs! Tapi apa salahnya sekali sekala. Kalau tiap tiap minggu camni memang sahlah sengaja nak jadik pokai! Pulak tuh rega minuman pun cikhal. Mujur mak dinch minum bebanyak (mak bukan minum pun, uols!).

Weols balik pukul 3.30am and headed towards Bromley where Rob lives (naik bas malam uols).

Makan Makan In Soho, London

Saturday Night baru ni, just before weols gi clubbing tak hengat kat Heaven nightclub in London ittew, we ols sempat gi makan makan di sebuah restoran India yang quite popular called Chowki in Soho.

Kawan weols si Rob perkenalakn weols dengan kengkawan beliau i.e Caroline & Shirley. Si Shirley nih asal dari South Africa dan dia siap bagitahu mak yang dia sentapz setiap kali ada orang nak kenal ngan dia, mesti theyols tanya dia kot kot dia ni orang India. memang dia sentapz uols; dia dan famili turun temurun dosi di South Africa katanya..so non-ado ke-India-annya, katanya! tapi haruslah kan dia kata tuk nenek moyang dia memang asal India (tapi tetaplah kan dinch mahu di relate dengan set set Kelly Clarkson!).

Si Caroline ni pulak memang chanteque uols..slim and blonde gittew. Dia siap bagitahu weols yang fiance dia selalus angat gi pub/ club cik cik gayah dan kadang kadang commolot dengan cik cik gayah tapi tetaplah kan dia pertahankan bahawa fiance janz dia tuh janz str8 maha macho, leyy?? Walaupun kepala weols fenin dok fikir betul ke idak fiance si Caroline ni patah ke idak patahnya, weols tetaplah kan harap agar mereka akan berkekalan jua (ye lah, Caroline ni baik orangnya). Oh ye, theyols nak kawen January depan katanya!

Hmmm bukan nak kata apa tapi si cikki chanteque nih sempat commolot tak hengat dengan dua orang cikki lain kat kelab Heaven tuh..curious katanya, leyy??? **pitam!

Kan, sempat posing dulu sebelum mengisi tembolok memasing! Must admit, the food was though delicious, it's quite pricey (tapi tetaplah kan, harga London uols! Mestilah cikhal sokmo!).

Makanan mak - Fish curry ala Bangladeshi ke hapa ntuh with yellow pilau rice and nan bread. Sedap sekals! **matilaa terburai abdomenkiewww.

Tu diah si Rob sempat meng-loi batang dessertnya **oops! Apa ntah namanya mak pun lupa.. Kulfi ke hapa ntuh!

Habih licing pinggang mok, uols! Mujur je mok dok gi jilak pinggag, piring, makuk tuh belaka, ye dok?

So lepas tuh weols gi The Village pub where they had those A Go Go Boys pole dancing on the main bar. Masa ittewlah mak di usha dengan jayanya oleh Abang Botak Hensem.. aiyoo merembssss uols! Nanti mak cerits nah???
